Ikebana: Japanese Floral Art, Intermediate
About this class
For students interested in advancing their Ikebana skills, this is an ideal class. Intended for students who have completed the Ikebana Beginners class and already understand the four elements of a Sogetsu Ikebana arrangement: line, mass, space, and color. In this class, students will explore new technical variations and begin earning credit for Sogetsu certification. Bring garden scissors, 10” or 12” wide by 2” or 3” high shallow ceramic container (Suiban), 3" or 4" wide metal flower pin frog (Kenzan), and a small water bowl (smaller sized Suiban and acrylic Kenzan are NOT recommended for this class). Click HERE to purchase the optional book for this class if you are interested in certification with the Sogetsu School of Ikebana ($25 cost)! Prerequisite: Ikebana: Japanese Floral Art, Beginners.
