Painting with Watercolors

About this class

The course will help students gather the tools needed to create and express themselves through watercolor. Through instructor guided paintings, students will receive step-by-step instruction on watercolor techniques. The instructor will cover concepts such as, basic color theory, composition, brush strokes, blending, and more. Required class materials: Students need to have access to a basic set of watercolor paint set (tube paint will work), a watercolor paper pad (9”x12” preferably), 2 cups or tin cans, a rag or small towel, watercolor brushes (one flat, one round), pen, pencil, and eraser.
